Trailblazer After-School Program

Hello! My name is Nathan Schneider, and I am the director of the Rosa Parks after school program. The program is staffed by a mixture of Certified and Classified Rosa Parks staff and College aged staff with an interest in early childhood education. We will offer a prepackaged snack to students once they are in our care after school. The daily schedule includes homework time and recess. The rest of the schedule depends on the age group.   Cost : $210 a month per student.   Program Hours 2:45p - 6:00p Monday - Thursday 2:45p - 5:30p Fridays (Movie Day!)

The Waitlist

Our after-school program at Rosa Parks usually stays at capacity year-round and we currently have a waitlist for each grade level. When a student withdraws, I will contact families in order from when they were added and offer spots to fill the program. Students already enrolled in the program will have priority to re-sign up first. If you would like to be added to our waitlist please contact me at our program e-mail,

Incoming Kindergarten students

For incoming kindergarten students that are starting next year, I also start a list of families who are interested in the program. Contact me at if you are interested and I can add you to the list, all I need is your best contact email and your student's name. Around February or March I will have a random lottery to determine which families on the list will have a spot in the program the following year. If you have questions about this process, please let me know.
