The National Association for Gifted Children provides general information and legislative updates. It has links to NAGC divisions that can provide details about research, trends and social-emotional needs. It's a great place to start.

Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted is a non-profit organization committed to fostering the affective development of gifted youth. Find articles on social and emotional development.

Perhaps the most comprehensive resource on gifted children can be found at Hoagies’ gifted education page. Information, reflections, stories, professional resources and much more are at your fingertips.

To find out what is happening with gifted and talented statewide, please check out the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education and the Center for Gifted Studies at Western Kentucky University.

Looking for the information about giftedness, multi-cultural issues and dual diagnoses such as learning disabilities and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder?  Your best bet is ericdigests.org, where you will find the latest research and theory as well as possible interventions for these children.
