Rosa Parks Elementary has a well-deserved reputation of being one of the best schools in Kentucky. This stems from the amazing staff, awesome students, and highly involved families.  My goal is to carry on this tradition of excellence as we continue to implement the systems that have been established.

In 1997, I was blessed to be one of the teachers to open Rosa Parks Elementary. During my time here, I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Before coming to RPE, I taught special education at Squires Elementary and was a primary teacher at Deep Springs Elementary. A few years ago, I left Rosa Parks to become the PGES coach at Harrison Elementary. Then I returned to serve as principal.

I am married to Billy and we have twin sons, Brady and Tanner, who went to school here. I love to spend time with my family and friends, and I am an avid sports enthusiast. My favorite is football. I like all outdoor adventures, especially four-wheeling and jet skiing.  I love to laugh, and I enjoy every minute of my joyful life! I am blessed to be part of this wonderful Rosa Parks community.
