Patrice Burlew
Patrice Burlew took the helm in July 2025, bringing more than 16 years of experience in education and dedicated service to Fayette County Public Schools. She joined Team FCPS in 2008 as a fourth-grade teacher. She served in elementary classrooms at four schools for 14 years before becoming an assistant principal at Veterans Park in 2022.
Burlew holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Cincinnati Christian University, a master’s in Education from the University of the Cumberlands, and an Education Specialist degree from the University of Kentucky.
